The Last Day :-(

After another day of fun in the sun (in which Mommy & Daddy's backs turned red, but not Madison's?)....

...we then headed to Family Kindgom & spent close to 5 HOURS riding rides! We had a GREAT time! She rode every ride at least twice. Here are some of her favorites...

Mini bumper cars were hilarious...and this little race car really took shook you up on the corners.

Anything that flies in the air or turns round and round are fun.

She LOVES the little swings and Mommy does NOT like the ferrris wheel.

2 of her favorites were "big" rides - the Hurricane & Tilt-a-Whirl. We had to ride those OVER and OVER (Daddy got a little too much spinning, I think).

She LOVED the Mexican mini-rollercoaster! She was so cute!!

Daddy even won her a pink unicorn before it was all over!

More Beach....

After the nap, Madison wanted to head back out to the beach, so we went out to the pier...

Look - Mommy does go on vacations too....you would never know it, would you?!

Then we played some putt-putt....Madison did great!

Then on to some shopping at Broadway at the Beach. At Libby Lu's (Madison's paradise....all GIRL...all PINK....all Hannah Montana, High School Musical...) we let her pick out anything. She chose to have a makeover instead. :-)

BEACH

Hi! We're here at the beach for a little Spring Break fun. :-)

Thank goodness for indoor pools! We spent the first few hours here.

It didn't take long for our little water bug to remember how to swim!

But she LOVED hanging out on the lazy river too!

After lunch we headed out to the sand. She picked up every signle broken seashell in her path (I don't know if we got even one intact shell).


Yes, the water is COLD. I kept her out as much as I could, but she made it in to her knees before I made her get out.

And what trip to the beach would be complete without a sandcastle building picture . :-)

It was a fun morning seeing what the Easter Bnny brought.

Then hunting eggs....

At Nanas house, she got a basket full of clothes and toys.

Back at home Madison & Daddy played with her new tennis racket! She's a natural.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we went with some friends to the YMCA/Lake Carolina Egg Hunt.

Is she ready for Spring or what?

Ok, we use the tern "hunting" lightly. Madison, Hannah, and Macy had NO problem finding any eggs, as you can see (they were empty....you traded them in for a goody bag).

When we got home, it was egg dying time!!

Zachary, Madison, and Erin (and Baby Liam, not pictured) had a fun day at the zoo. It was a BEAUTIFUL day!

Monday Madison's CD class Welcomed Spring with a Spring Hat Parade through the school. Here they are in all their hats!

Weekend Update

Well, I've been without cable, internet, and phone since Saturday, so I couldn't post all the goings-on....Here's WHY I had none of those things:

No, none of these are my house, thank God, but my poor little town was hit hard. ONE STREET away, there was a LOT of damage. I was less that .5 miles from the F3 tornado. Scary!

Now, on to more fun news.....

Saturday started with a train trip with her Nana, Papa, and the Easter Bunny.

Sunday we had our friends over for some fun in the sun and an Easter Egg hunt in the backyard.
