Tacky Day

Monday was Tacky Day in Madison's class to celebrate Tacky the Penguin. Madison and Hannah had fun picking out their outfits!

Madison went to her first USC basketball game with Daddy Sunday. She went right onto the court at half-time to dance with Cocky. Sorry the pics were taken with Daddy's cell phone from a little far away. :-)

A SC SNOW

Well, it was snow (at least for a while). It started about 9:00 and was raining by 10:30, but it was fun while it lasted. Madison came out to see it for a second and went right back to bed. She was more interested in sleeping. The next day she was excited to see the little (TINY) snowman that I made her in the freezer.

We've been super busy lately, but we're still around. :-)

A little post about ME (yes, I do have a life outside of Madison.....it's called school). Today I got the good news......I am going to be the Sandlapper Elem. 2008-2009 Teacher of the Year! WOO HOO!

PARTY TIME!!!!

The day finally arrived! Party Day!

Saturday was the day of the BIG High School Musical birthday party. Believe it or not, we somehow managed to have 34 children and 36 adults in (and sround) our house on Saturday. It was cramped, at times, but the kids had a blast!

We had singing and dancing.....

Movies & popcorn (and more singing & dancing)...

Cupcakes & ice cream, of course...

Tattoos, pinatas (look at that line! And see, there were some boys too....they just didn't make it in many pictures).

And presents.....lots of them. And I swear, we opened EVERY ONE OF THEM after the party!

Madison (and her parents) thank everyone for coming!! See you next year (but NOT at the house.....we decided that was a one-time only!)

Last Day of Vacation :-(

Dad & Glenna spent their last day in SC today. They helped celebrate Madison's birthday a little early ....

...and then we all had a great time playing outside! Oh, a SC winter......so nice.

Happy New Year!

Ok, had to throw this in, even though it had nothing to do with anything else. Mike said all she needs is a white belt, and she's ready for the 80s!

The friends and family came over to watch Clemson LOSE and to celebrate the New Year.

Erin stayed over for her first sleepover too! They went to sleep JUST before the New Year arrived.
