Weekly Update 10/25/09

We had a fun filled Hallo-weekend! Saturday started out with a trip to McBee to the pumpkin patch! Good thing we got some pictures with their cool pumpkins before the RAIN! But we still managed to have fun with the face painting and CORN MAZE! We zoomed through in about 20 minutes. :-)
**************************************************************
On Sunday we got a trial run in our PRINCESS and the PEA costumes as we headed to Hannah & Eliza's birthday party! Check out the girls in their outfits.

**************************************************************
Then we headed over to Lake Scare-o-Lina with everyone for even more fun! Another hay ride, some inflatables, more face paint, and more pumpkins! :-)

**************************************************************
Later that night we somehow had the energy to carve a pumpkin! Madison chose a SCARY face this year!!
**************************************************************
Here are our 2 pumpkins from the day. One goofy one from the party and our SCARY one.

In unrealted, but just as fun, news.....PEYTON IS 2 MONTHS OLD! And has started to really come alive with her smiles and talking! Here is a video of her sweet smiles that she gives us in the morning. I had been meaning to get her all week and kept forgetting the camera upstairs. This morning was a mild morning.
And I'll try to get her talking and smiling this week. She does the best when I drop her off and pick her up from Mrs. Teresa's house but tonight she actually had a LONG talk with Daddy at dinner.

Weekly Update 10/18/09

Here's my girls this week.....Peyton in one of her cute shirts & Madison's school pic!

*********************************************************************
Ok, on to our update: this week ended with a bang! As has become tradition, we went to the State Fair with our buddies, The Myers! Madison, Hannah, and Alex went straight down the strip and rode pretty much everything that they saw. :-)

CHECK OUT THE ADULTS & KIDS IN THE BUMPER CARS:

It was Peyton's first trip to the Fair and we got her all bundled up. She loved looking at all the commotion and lights. And isn't her jacket adorable? Almost as cute as her chubby cheeks!

*********************************************************************
Unfortunately that night we discovered that Madison had strep throat, so that derailed the rest of our weekend festivities (birthday parties, football games, and the pumpkin patch).
Instead, on Sunday, we went to see Mike's Grandmother who is in Hospice care. It was the first time she got to see Peyton, so it was a special time.
Mike's aunts were there too, so they got to see Peyton for the first time too.

The grounds were so pretty that we stopped for a few pictures while we were there.
Madison's 2 wishes in the fountain on the way out.....
1)That Peyton would always love her.
2) That she would get to see Great-Grandmother again.
Is my daughter the sweetest, most sensitive 5 year old or what?!

Weekly Update 10/11 (a day late)

I'm a day late with my weekly update because I am officially off maternity leave. :-( Anyway, here we go.....
Here are some pics of Peyton this week. Her little smile is so cute!

*******************************************************
This week Peyton felt like dancing!! With the help of Daddy and Madison, she was having so much fun (see the video).

*******************************************************
Tuesday Madison and the crew went to Sonic Night. They thought it was so awesome to see their teachers serving them and taking tips!

*******************************************************
Friday GiGi finally got to come and visit!! Peyton showed her lots of smiles and talked to her a lot.

*******************************************************
Gi Gi got to spend some time with the other grandkids too and brought them some crafts.

*******************************************************
Saturday was a busy day. We went to the soccer fields to watch the boys again. Check out Peyton just chillin'

*******************************************************
Then we headed to Teddy Mountain for Bennett's 5th birthday party!! Even Peyton made a bear!

*******************************************************
After all that, you can imagine how tired little Peyton was! Look at that sleepy girl! And, yes, she has found a nice sleeping spot just like her sister did when she was a tiny thing. :-)
