LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!!!!

The girls woke up the day after Christmas to lots and lots of snow! Peyton wasn't quite sure about it, but Madison got to work making a snowman and snow angel.

Later that day, Peyton was much happier sledding with friends.

Madison just had a ball sledding over and over and over!

Peyton even took some trips in the big tube!

YAY to snow!!!!!

Christmas Eve/Day

Christmas Eve we went to Nana's house to celebrate with all our awesome cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Peyton had so much fun playing with Mary Beth, Uncle Chris, and helping Nana clean up afterwards!

Madison had fun with her crazy cousins, which is why I have no pictures of her.....they were off making trouble somewhere.

That night Madison said Good-bye to her Elf on a Shelf, Mady P and put out reindeer food.

The next morning (after a little cuddle time with sisters)...

We went out to see what Santa had brought! Madison didn't put her iTouch down all day (except when she had to recharge it b/c she ran the batteries out). Peyton loved and hated her new toy. She wasn't quite used to pushing the button yet. They both loved the trampoline (Daddy too).

Then we headed to Chester for time with Nana, Papa, Maw Maw, and Paw Paw. Love this pic....look at the panic on Peyton's face!

MORE presents?! They loaded up there. And still more to come with Grandpa & GiGi tomorrow!!

My Peyton @ 16 months

I blog and blog about what we're up to but don't say much about what our newest Mobley is doing. Usually just going with the flow. And usually being fiesty about it.

Anyway, Peyton will be 16 months tomorrow, though you can't tell it from her size! Can you believe these PJs she wore today are the same ones she wore LAST CHRISTMAS?!

We dwell alot on how she doesn't TALK yet. We understand a few phrases and words she says but nothing is really recognizable to anyone else. And mostly she gets what she wants by just pointing and saying "AH." Yes, I know we don't help the situation by giving her what she wants.

But on the flip side she is SO SMART! I know I'm her mom, but she can do whatever we ask her to, show us several body parts, and definitely KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS. She can watch Madison do something a few times and pretty much figure out what to do.....and then do it (or at least try). At My Gym, she's decided she needs to flip on the high bar like her big sister (and she does pretty darn good). Here are some pics from today when she decided to try the Wii Fit. Look at her squatting for the skii game and bobbing and weaving in the soccer game. She constantly amazes me with how smart she is.

So, that's what Peyton's up to. She is a ball of fiesty fun and we love her, despite her love for growling at us and trying to beat us up (Daddy's fault for wrestling too much). We wouldn't have her any other way!

Holiday Lights on the River

We were worried at first when it began to rain on the way there (and Peyton began to fuss and fuss), but it turned out to be a great night. Peyton LOVED the lights, the marshmallows, and Santa. And the rain stopped to let Madison have her marshmallows that she has been craving since the day after Thanksgiving.

Peyton ran right up to Santa and was all smiles.

Pre-Christmas Weekend

As has become a Christmas tradition, Madison and Hannah went to go see The Two Claras. It is an updated AWESOME Nutcracker.

Madison got to meet Andie McDowell, who was hosting. She didn't really care, but loved her daughter, Rainey, who sang during the performance.

Later that night we went over to the McCarley's for Christmas dinner. Look at these 4. Can you beleive how big they are getting?!

They opened presents and had lots of fun together.

Sunday we went for Christmas crafts and treat swap at Grouchos with some friends. Here is Peyton's adorably cute outfit (before all the cookies and gum drops).

The big girls had fun with the crafts (Madison, Katelyn, and Hannah). And the little girls had fun eating (Peyton and Gracie). They look like they're up to no good, don't they?

Later that night we went to the Elgin lights & trains. Peyton loved the lights!

And of course Santa was there!

After all that fun, Peyton was done! :-)
