My 8 Month Old Big Girl!

That's right.....this little cutie is 8 MONTHS OLD NOW!! Where does the time go?

She has now decided that sitting and crawling are no longer options for her. She cruises EVERYWHERE and on ANYTHING (as you can see). The tables, the couches, the doll house, the wall, the window sill, the bed, the laundry basket (that one resulted in a baby under a flipped laundry basket, but she has to learn sometime).

Of course all this cruising means lots more mischeif! Like eating phone books and Madison's dolls and anything else that she shouldn't!

Also means that Mommy has MUCH less free time, which is why you see less pictures and less updates. I'm always steering her in safer directions, or picking her up when she learns that she can't use a cabinet drawer knob to hold on to, etc. etc. You get my point. By the summer, I'll be RUNNING after her and I can't wait (I think)!

Carnival Fun

Saturday was a fantastic day to get out in the sun and boy did we ever! We started out at a road side carnival with some friends. We stayed for 3 HOURS and then Madison went back that night with Daddy too! It was tons of fun!! We rode everything we could and Peyton loved looking around at everything.

Then we met Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Weston, Nanas, Colby, and Bennett for Bennett's t-ball game.

It was a perfect sunny day (Mommy & Peyton got a little too much sun!!)! Can't wait for more!

Our Week

First of all, how cute are my kids?




Ok, now on with our week. We took it easy this Spring Break (meaning we stayed in town and did this and that.)

On Tuesday Peyton drove herself over to Nanas (just kidding) so Mommy & Madison could have a Girls Night at the Theater. We went to go see Mamma Mia. It was awesome!!






On Wednesday Daddy took the girls to the pool at the YMCA while Mommy was at tennis. Brave, brave man!



On Thursday Madison discovered that it's easier to make her own lunch than wait on Mommy to fix it! :-) She was so proud of herself. She was a very big help this week!



Also Thursday we went for our ENT appointment and decided to go ahead and get Peyton some tubes! And we all ewnt swimming again. Peyton loved it!


Friday was tube day! Our ittle patient did great and we now have tubes, so hopefully those ear infections will stop!!

Easter Festivities

Spring Break started out with lots to do. Friday we went with the Myers to take pictures in the tulips. Madison was beautiful as always. And Peyton was as cute as can be. Just a little harder to get a 7 month old to smile! And almost impossible to get 2 kids at the same time! :-) But they are still awesome!

From there we went to meet some friends at the Zoo. Lots of fun!

Saturday we had more fun in store. We had all our friends over for an Easter Egg Hunt! First we had some fun with our Bunny Ears.



We got all pretty....

Then the hunt and fun was on!

The girls had a great time with all their friends.
