YUMMY YUMMY!

It was a fun food time in the Mobley house this weekend. :-) Peyton tried out her new biter biscuts and she loved them!! She was a MESS, but she was gumming that thing to death! Then we got a few sips from our new sippy cup. She wasn't too sure about that.

Madison was in a cooking mood. We made her favorites....cheese quesadillas and chocolate chip cookies! YUM!!

6 MONTHS OLD!!!

Peyton had the day off today for her 6 month check up (and her sitter had the stomach bug). So Daddy took advantage of the nice weather and took her on her first Zoo Trip!! He said she liked the fish, the bears, and the birds the best. :-)

Her stats today were:

Weight: 14lbs, 6 oz (25%)

Height: 25 7/8 inches (50%)

Head: 16 inches (5%)

Ear Infections: 1 more

Antibiotics: 3rd times a charm?

So, basically we have a little peanut (not quite used to that) which is I guess why she still fits in most her 0-3 clothes! And she apparently is going to have ear problems. I thought not going to day care was supposed to cut back on things like this?! Let's hope the 3rd antibiotic does the trick....and Mommy's steroid treatment.....and Daddy's antibiotics for HIS ear infection. PHEW! How the heck Madison isn't sick yet is totally beyond me!!

Spring Fever!!

Today my sweet girls headed out to enjoy the sunshine!

Peyton enjoyed sitting out in the sun watching her sister ride her bike and swinging.

Madison had a great time too and was a great big sister having fun with Peyton!

Peyton also investigated this new stuff called grass. Not sure she liked how it tasted though!

Valentine's Weekend

We had a Happy Happy Valentine's Weekend and a lot more to do than play in the snow!!

It was Peyton's FIRST Valentine's Day of course. Check out my cute and funny Valentines!



We had 3 birthday parties this weekend!! Yes, 3! First was Macy's....


Macy had an awesome yoga party! The girls practiced their yoga moves, stretched, and relaxed.

Sunday we had Anthony's party...

Where we hoped on the Fun Bus and had fun with friends!

As if we needed any MORE excitement, the Tooth Fairy visited us on Saturday AND Sunday! Yes, Madison lost TWO teeth this weekend!!

She finally got rid of that 2nd front tooth and is getting used to those "S" words with no teeth!

Snow Day 2

Saturday morning we woke up to a Winter Wonderland!

Look how deep and pretty!!!!

The kids (Mike & Madison) immediately went out and started having fun!

And building snowmen! I mean snow GIRLS! They made some at Erin's and our house.

So glad the girls got to have some fun in the snow this year!!

SNOW IN SC?!

OK, now on to the fun stuff.....

We couldn't keep Madison (or Mike) out of the snow Friday! She had a blast!! Can't wait for tomorrow!!

My Poor Baby!

Well, it all started 2 weeks ago. Peyton woke up 2 Saturdays ago really nasty and snotty. Skip to Thursday of that week with no signs of improvement and new nasty eye drainage. We went to the doctor. Ears clear, but got our first antibioticanyway. By Monday still no improvement and the eyes had gotten worse, so we went BACK to the doctor. Ears looked good, must have just been a virus and will work it out. Tear ducts were backed up b/c of all the drainage so we got some eye drops. Skip to this Saturday. Everything's finally starting to look up. Nose still snotty, but bearable, eyes all cleared up.

But what's this....a little rash on her arms and neck. Hmmm....CALL the doctor and nurse says it's probably just a reaction to the Amoxicillin. Try Benadryl and it will probably be gone in the morning. Saturday gets worse and worse. Sunday wakes up and she is COVERED!!

Go BACK to the doctor for a 3rd time!!! She THINKS it's just allergic reaction to Amoxicillan. Try a higher dose of Benadryl. BUT....it could possibly be mono?! Apparently if you take Amoxicillan while you have mono, you also break out in a rash all over. But the test is a LOT of blood and inaccurate for this age, so it's not really recommended unless we think there was exposure? GREAT! Oh, and those clear ears????? They're now infected! So we're on a 2nd antibiotic that makes her choke!! And the Benadryl that she also HATES....not doing a darn thing!! That's right.....rash looks just as disgusting as ever!

So, that's the ongoing saga of Peyton's first major illness. Let's pray it ends SOON please and that it's NOT mono!!!! Calling our regular doctor tomorrow to get his opinion. Keep you posted!

Circus Time!

It's circus time for the Mobleys and Myers! Saturday we went to see the acrobats, elephants, tigers, and clowns. First we went to the pre-show where we got to go down on the floor. We watched the elephants up close and some awesomely flexible girls.

Hannah & Madison even got to meet some!

Peyton had a great time too. She got a little lift from Daddy to see the elephants. During the show she stood up the whole time smiling and watching. She loved it!!

This week we also got the camera out for the first time in a while. Madison and Peyton were so cute playing on the floor! Peyton's getting good at rolling over and getting so strong! We did some videos, if I can get them on here, I'll try.
