I'm a Hamster Grandma!

Meet Princess. Princess is Madison's birthday hamster. She's been asking for it for a year now and we finally got it. Princess is a boy, but Madison named him before we knew that so I hope he's not going to have a complex. :-)
She hung out in her wheel for a while (that also goes with a princess carraige) and is getting used to her new home in Madison's room!

Here is Princess in her exercise ball:

Christmas Day 2009

Christmas 2009. Madison & Peyton wake up to more presents than they can hold onto. :-) Peyton's pile is actually bigger than her!

But with a little help we got it all unwrapped. :-)
They loved everything they got. Madison got her laptop that she wanted from Santa and was apparently very excited about this pencil. :-) Her favorite toy was the Polly Pocket roller coaster (it's a water coaster).

Peyton looked so cute in her new hat that Madison bought her at the school store. And she LOVES her Jenny Jump Up! Madison loves it too!

Here is some of the aftermath....Peyton could lay in the wrapping paper and get lost. And LOOK at this room!

Look at my adorable family!!

*********************************************************
Next we headed to Nana & Papa's house.

Madison had a good time sliding around on their new floor.

And opening presents of course!

*********************************************************
Lastly we went to The Nanas. Mom was so excited to have all 5 of her grandkids together!!

We opened even MORE presents!

*********************************************************
Now we're home and the presents are (almost) all opened and (almost) all put away. Ahhh....until Sunday when Grandpa and GiGi arrive for more Christmas!!! :-0

UNTIL THEN....

Christmas Eve Service 09

Madison as an angel in the Christmas Eve Service.

Oh What a Day!

Christmas Eve was a busy day (busier than usual for the Mobleys)!

We started with a little bowling with the cousins.

***************************************************************************
Peyton had a big day. She's 4 months old today!! And she rode in a grocery cart! The girl hates her car seat, so when we go to the store it's either 1) let her cry, 2) carry her and push the cart, or 3) let her sit. I have to let her hold my fingers to keep her from teetering over, but it's much better than choices 1 & 2!
***************************************************************************
Next we went to church for the children's service. Madison was finally old enough to be an angel this year!!
***************************************************************************
Then back home to get ready for Santa!! We wrote him a note, picked out our cookies, and left reindeer food in the back yard.

***************************************************************************
Look at my little DEERS in their reindeer pajamas!! Ready for sleep so Santa can come!!

More Holiday Fun

This week we saw Santa 2 more times. In the mall and at Saluda Shoals. Check out cutie Peyton in the mall pic. How cute!

We love the Saluda Shoals lights. But what everyone loves the most is the marshmallows! Madison starts asking about roasting marshmallows in November! And it looks like Peyton may follow in her footsteps!

This week we also made our cookies for Santa. A Mommy/Daughter tradition that we both look forward to every year. Madison was a huge help this year and was in charge of all the sprinkles (uh-oh!)

Toast the Tree

Tonight we had a Toas the Tree party at the Collins' house. We got all dressed up to look our best (and take some pictures of course).
Here are the groups....we're so big! The kids now number 16, which out numbers the adults. That's a little scary!

The parents had fun in the Gag Gift exchange.
The kids had fun hanging out with each other.
