The Beginning of the End

Ok....so I am totally obsessed with Twilight, which of course stars Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black. Madison is really in love with Shark Boy (played by a young Taylor Lautner) from the movie Shark Boy & Lava Girl. So of course she sees his pics in all MY gossip magazines. Well, most of the time he's shirtless so Daddy says she can NOT hang any shirtless pics on her wall. So I had to break down and buy her first Teeny Bopper magazine today! Here she is enjoying it on the way home.

Room Revisions

We moved the bookshelf away from the crib onto the wall with the toy box. Now we have the crib centered on the wall. Much better, we think!

My Funny Girl

Funniest thing I've heard all week......

Madison: "Daddy, how old are you?"
Mike: "33"
Madison: "I'm sorry?"
Mike: "I'm 33."
Madison: "No, I heard you. I'm just sorry."

We heard that joke on the Jungle Cruise last week (when our guide asked where we were from). She obviously thought it was hilarious!

Peyton Room Update

The furniture is i: crib, changing table/hutch, dresser, bookshelf, and toy box. There are even some things IN them! Though I have a long way to go on decorating!! Everything still looks so bare, but I have time & money left. :-)

Disney (Day 5)

Day 5 was really eventful! We went back to Magic Kingdom and got a LOT done. Met a lot of people and rode a lot. And Mike FINALLY got picked to be The Beast at Beast's Storytime! Videos to follow when I get home!

Disney (Days 3 & 4)

Well, as you know, Day 3 started out a little shaky. Madison was in and out all night groaning about a tummy ache. She hadn't eaten dinner or breakfast. When she finally (around 9) decided to try a little biscut, she finally threw up. She immediately felt better and was bouncing off the walls, so we decided to try an easy day at Epcot's World Showcase (so she could stay in the stroller a lot).
So, here we met Mulan (YEAH!!), went on a Kim Possible mission, and did take in a few countries' attractions before she fell asleep.
Day 4 we headed to Animal Kingdom. Not typically my favorite park, but was better this year than last year. We were able to do the safari and rapids with no waiting at all, so that helped a LOT!
And even though they cancelled one of our loved shows - Pocohontas....we still saw Lion King, which is undeniably one of the best shows at WDW!
Of course we also had to head down to Rafiki's Planet watch to catch some of our hard to find friends!

That night (after resting up at the hotel), we went to see my favorite nighttime show - FANTASMIC! Not happy that they have cut back on Fantasmic and it now shows less times in the week and was PACKED....but I couldn't miss it! No pics there.....too hard to catch! :-) Did have videos, but can't upload here!
So....we've been to them all now. Heading back to Magic Kingdom tomorrow to catch up!

DISNEY (Days 1 & 2)

I've found that as we go so much, I take less and less pictures. :-) Only 60 or so in the first 2 days. :-) Here's what we've been up to....

Day 1 we went to Magic Kingdom. Rode all the fun stuff in Fantasyland then headed over to meet the princesses and the fairies in Pixie Hollow. Madison LOVED Pixie Hollow!!

After that we hopped over to Epcot and rode everything there except Soarin, (Fastpasses were all gone and the wait was over an hour!). Oh, and had a Mickey Mouse bar of course! :-)

Day 2 we started at Epcot so we raced straight to Soarin'. Rode it and then immediately rode it again. We then hopped over to Hollywood Studios and met lots of characters there and saw some shows (like the HSM 3 show that Madison got up for!). Also rode Toy Story of course!

We were going to take in Fantasmic that night, but Madison started complaining of a tummy ache and didn't eat any dinner (VERY unlike her) so we stayed in.

Day 3 not starting so well. She was up all night moaning b/c she had a tummy ache. No throwing up, but we haven't been able to get her to eat or drink anything since yesterday at lunch, so we're seeing how it's going to play out today.
UPDATE - Tummy ache finally turned into throwing up (we thought she was exaggerating)....now she's bouncing off the walls?! May be hope in this day still. :-)
