More Presents!

As if the girl needs anything else, right? Today we had a playdate/gift exchange with Emily, Anna, and Zachary. 3 of our OLDEST friends.

Zacahry enjoyed beating the girls at basketball.

The girls enjoyed eating and hanging out.

Mobley/Myers Night

More holiday get-togethers tonight.... This time with the Myers family at our house.

We opened more presents!! Alex loved his USC book the most!

Next we braved the cold to go to the Elgin train/lights again.

We saw the little train sets....and SANTA of course!

Why, yes, we DID go on the "hay" ride when it was 28 degrees. :-)

Also today, Madison and I spent all morning (then most of the afternoon with Mommy cleaning) making cookies for Santa! My favorite part of Christmas! I think Madison enjoyed sneaking the cookie dough into her mouth. :-)

McCarley/Mobley Holiday Weekend

It was a McCarley/Mobley weekend. Part 1 started on Saturday when we had a Mommy-Daughter trip to the ballet. We went to see The Nutcracker. It was great!!

Part 2 on Sunday started at the McCarley house. Look at these cute kiddos!

We exhanged gifts for the kids. Madison loved helping Liam open his presents.

Then we headed to the Saluda Shoals Holiday Lights on the River. They were great! The girls loved them!!

Because we were there during the "Nights of Wonder," we also got to roast some yummy marshmallows, sip some hot chocolate, ....

.... and see SANTA!!!

(PS - They both want Barbies, Barbies, Barbies!)

Little Dancers

Madison & Hannah showed off their moves tonight at Open House. They were hilarious! Hannah is always in ballet pose (so graceful) and Madison is always trying to be in the spotlight. :-)

Elgin Lights

Tonight we took the short trip over to see the lights & trains in Elgin. It was a BEAUTIFUL December night and we had a great time with our family! :-)

Oh, and we saw some lights too. :-)

As a bonus, we get to see the cool train sets & little villages. AND we get to see SANTA!!!

It was a sleepy 5 minute ride home. :-)

Madison Updates

It's been all about Mommy since Wednesday, so here's a little Madison news.

Friday's tennis lesson was very cold (I mean successful). She hit 9 in a row (and beat the little boy next to her, by the way). She also practiced her backhand for the first time. I don't think she liked it too much. :-) But check out that form & follow through. Her Dad is so proud!

On Saturday Madison wrote a note to Santa on our chalkboard (it's too cute - got it at Hallmark by the way). She sounded it out herself, so I added a translation to the picture for all those of you who AREN'T kindergarten teachers (Holly, Kristy, Michele - I bet you could read it) without translation.


Oh, and we played Barbies, of course. Why does she need to ask Santa for more?! She already has no less than 30, and that is NOT an exaggeration!
